A French boot. Some 15 years ago, I bought some rubber boots from a Wisconsin Wal-Mart sold as "dairy boots." They have lasted all of these years, with the only damage being some tears and missing pieces along the top courtesy of a teething puppy.
Suddenly, out of the blue, Aki got me some fancy French boots that are all the rage at the WMA. These are Le Chameau (the Camel) Men's Chasseur. I got them from Orvis, but Cabelas sells them as well. I almost don't know what to think, since they are worth more than anything in my closet, including any pair of leather shoes for my suits. I'm going to enjoy these.
