My trip to Sumter, SC two weeks ago was my first chance to see Larsen since October 9. The little mutt was a fuzzball. In part, that is because Larsen has a lot of coat. And, in part it is winter, and Larsen is living in a blue barrel in a kennel in what are basically freezing conditions. As a result, he has really fluffed out a protective coat. When we get him back, we have to change him from a kennel dog from the Call of the Wild back into a suburban bowser. Now, here's the plan.
This is mutt central.
At the lower right is a dog bathtub. It's nice because it sits up at waist height (you can see that it is taller than the wheel barrow). We'll drag the tub outside through those double doors. We have a hot/cold tap out there for the hose so that we can get some warmer water (for us, not really so much for Larsen).
When we bring him back in, we'll toss him onto the table to the left. That's a training table that has a skyhook that we can hook him onto. We've got the hair clippers, scissors, etc. I'll take a big whack at him and then let Aki play dolls with him.
